1. Go to Windows Device Manager, right click on the unknown device "CHIPI-X" under "Other Devices".  Windows should automatically install the driver for CHIPI-X10 after a while.  Scan hardware changes to update the installed device drivers.  If the driver for CHIPI-X is not installed within the next 10-20 seconds, right click on "CHIPI-X", Update Driver, browse to "CDM-v2.12.36.4-WHQL-Certified".

2. Next, if you're seeing an unknown "USB Serial Port" under "Other Devices", perform an Update Driver again as you have done previously for "CHIPI-X" - refer to the image "Install FTDI driver for unknown usb serial port.jpg".  Once the FTDI driver is successfully installed, you will find the FTDI "USB Serial Port" under Device Manager, Ports.  Right click properties to confirm it is a FTDI device.
